"I got back home after being gone for about a week and the second I opened the door I knew I made a mistake letting my cousin crash at my place while I was gone. I figured it would be fine since it was only supposed to be temporary and he kept saying he just needed a place to stay for a few days. Instead I walked into what looks like a landfill. Bags of trash everywhere, bottles all over the floor, food containers, clothes piled up, random boxes, and somehow the entire living room looks worse than a frat house after a party. And the crazy part is this all happened in one week. I’m talking about stacks of garbage bags, empty bottles, food wrappers, dishes piled in the kitchen, and clothes thrown everywhere like the concept of a trash can just didn’t exist while I was gone. When I told him he needed to start cleaning it up immediately he just shrugged and said he’d “get to it later.” I told him absolutely not, he needs to get his stuff together and leave because I’m not about to live in a dump that someone else created while I was trying to help them out. Now he’s acting like I’m the bad guy for kicking him out when this is what I came home to." - Harrison James
