saw an older couple at the grocery store today he was pushing the cart and she was just holding onto his arm while they walked. at some point she said something and he started laughing so hard he had to stop and i just stood there watching them like an idiot honestly because how does that happen? like actually how? my friends can't keep a relationship for six months. people break up over a text message now. someone gets bored and just disappears and everyone acts like that's normal and then there's these two. probably been married longer than i've been alive. buying groceries together on a monday and laughing about something stupid i don't know what their secret is but whatever it is i don't think it's complicated. i think they just decided to stay. over and over again. even on the bad days what do you think it is? what actually keeps two people together that long?

there are several reasons but it's basically Love. That's what really keeps them together. Real love. I've been with my wife for 45 years. But we've only been married for the last 15. it must. be love cause we've gone through good and bad times and don't always agree on things but despite it all we're still together Shes 74 and I'm 71. So that's my opinion on your question

It comes from being personal , that means PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND TALK TO EACH OTHER , hold hands , look in each others eyes , that's doing personal things , I watched a young couple in a restaurant, they were three feet apart and texting each other, thats like being a thousand miles apart but in the same space , so sad

It’s called commitment you don’t run when things go bad . You lean into your faith in god knowing that’s always hope. I’m not going to lie to marriage tough but it’s also rewarding. My late wife and I were married 30 years to be sure we had our ups and downs and yes at times we drove each other nuts. My wife past away 8 years ago truly I count my blessings everyday that I got to spend 30 wonderful years with her
Without a doubt I’d do it all over again that’s what true love is all about 🙏🏼
