Here’s what happened: I made a cake using a boxed mix and put the batter into a preheated oven. About five minutes later, I started to smell something burning. When I opened the oven, the glass baking dish had completely shattered. The instructions say you can use either an aluminum or glass pan, so I’m confused about why this happened.
