I adopted two rescue kittens three years ago. I had retired and thought I could give a couple of kittens a couple of cats a good home and save them the very first day that I had these cats they hid under my bed which I expected them to do five minutes after being at my house the the male cat, who to this day is now known as the handsome boy that's his name, handsome boy and he is so smart and handsome. Now the female cat I got them both from the same litter ... she is known as the little girl that is her name! they were littermates stayed under the bed would come out eat use the little box and go back in there and hide under my bed so for 18 months, the cat and I just kinda lived in the same house with each other. I didn't pressure her or anything I didn't. I knew that I had to wait and let her come to me. 18 months is what it took here. We are many months later when she doesn't leave my side she is the most lovable smart cat. I got very lucky to get both of these out of the same letter so yes, having patience does pay off.
