Today, my friend brought me to a shelter and shared the incredible news that our child was waiting for us to take them home! When we opened the door, we saw this precious child, just like this!!!!!!! Those eyes, filled with anticipation, are something I will never forget. It felt as though they had been waiting for us all along. As I write this, tears are streaming down my face.
