It’s no big deal. Much ado about nothing. This lawsuit will go on for a while and courts are closed on the weekend, and most weddings take place on the weekends. Courts also try to accommodate key witnesses to the extent possible, so if Taylor gets a subpoena to testify say on the Friday before her wedding, or during her honeymoon, she’d just have her attorney file paperwork saying that she is not available to testify at that time, and ask for a more appropriate court date. Even before that, the court will most likely ask for an offer of proof regarding what they believe that Swift will testify to. If all parties agree that she’ll say proposed testimony, they can submit on the offer of proof so they won’t need her actual testimony. 🌸
