I put a great deal of stock into Kenseth's observations. I, too, would have to agree with him that NASCAR's twisting of the points structure in order to foment drama and ratings may have actually shackled the sport to a stagnant business model that is more self defeating than forward looking. They (NASCAR) need to pay attention to F1 and how the Europeans manage their product. Professionalism, Innovation and a constant drive to improve; that is why F1 is still extremely popular with its' base and in general.
