✨ Prophecy Fulfilled: The Life of Yeshua (Jesus) – Episode 59 “Are You the King?” (Matthew 27:1–2, 11–14; Mark 15:1–5; Luke 23:1–5; John 18:28–38) Dawn broke over Jerusalem, pale and cold. The religious leaders had finished what they could do under cover of night. Now they moved Yeshua from their council chamber to the Praetorium, placing Him before Roman authority. They would not enter the building themselves—careful to avoid ceremonial defilement—yet they had no hesitation in delivering an innocent man to death. ⸻ ⚖️ A Shift in Accusation Inside, Pilate demanded clarity. “What accusation do you bring against this Man?” The leaders answered vaguely, evasively: “If He were not an evildoer, we would not have delivered Him to you.” Pilate was unimpressed. When told to judge Him by their own law, they revealed the truth beneath their urgency: “It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death.” The charge shifted quickly—from blasphemy to political threat. “We found this Man misleading our nation, forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.” ⸻ 👑 The Question That Matters Pilate took Yeshua inside and asked the question that would define the trial: “Are You the King of the Jews?” Yeshua answered calmly, deliberately: “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight… but now My kingdom is not from here.” Pilate pressed further. “So You are a king?” Yeshua replied: “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born, and for this purpose I have come into the world— to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.” Pilate answered with weary cynicism: “What is truth?” He did not wait for an answer. 🕊️ Declared Innocent Pilate went back outside. “I find no guilt in Him.” The statement should have ended everything. ✝️ CONTINUED IN COMMENTS ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #Bible #God #Jesus #BibleStudy
