Big changes are coming to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo: after more than 40 years, the beloved seals and sea lions will be leaving for new homes. The zoo says their exhibit, originally built in 1982, just isn’t up to today’s standards—even after upgrades. The three remaining sea mammals, Onion the harbor seal and sea lions Annabelle and Hera, will be relocated to facilities that can better support their needs, possibly even for breeding. The space will be renovated for a new, land-dwelling animal. How do you feel about this shift—nostalgic, hopeful, or both? #Travel #ClevelandZoo #SeaLions
