I always buy an unlocked phone and then choose my provider. It happens to be Verizon at the moment and because the phone was paid for upfront, Im not tied to a contract and can leave them anytime. I had AT&T until about May of last year but the reception I received from their service was terrible where i live. Had to switch.

they need to worry about providing a quality connection. it's only getting worse. 4 bars of 5g and can barely load this app. verizon is a joke.

I will NEVER do a phone contract. I buy the phone outright (no phone is free) and only do month to month. The only way to get good deals is to keep switching carriers and take the new customer deals. I pay $60 a month for unlimited data.
