Lamentations 3 is long. Heavy. Emotionally draining. I almost couldn’t stay with it. Then verse 32 surprised me. “Though he brings grief, he will show compassion.” Pain and mercy in the same sentence. This chapter reminded me that suffering doesn’t mean God disappeared.
