Stevens Pass is back in action for skiers and snowboarders, but getting there from the west side just got a lot tougher. With Hwy. 2 still partially closed due to storm damage, anyone heading up will need to take a massive 100-mile detour via Snoqualmie and Blewett passes. Access to the pass is only open from 6 AM to 6 PM, and you’ll need to follow a guide car for the last stretch. Vail Resorts is also hinting at possible compensation for season passholders.
