Whats happening in our country to our elderly parents? All of my life I have stood firm on kids animals and elderly people being the members of this society who get a pass when nobody else does. Kids because they are still innocent and only know what we teach them. Animals because they are innocent as well and are only trying to survive, so we should let them. And the elderly because it's thier turn to just relax after having spent a lifetime trying to figure out how to just do life, so they've earned it. But it seems in today's society, common courtesy , respect for our elders and the innocence of a child are a thing of the past. None of that is holding value anymore. Even the manners we were taught as a child no longer show up . It's making me lose my mind and I don't know what to do about it. And by the time I reach my golden years , the quality of life will have deteriorated completely if we as a society don't start fixing it now. Can anybody relate to this or know what im talking about?
