And finally, Let yourself enjoy your own space ,solitude and peace of mind. Not pairing off with someone all the time is not a bad thing at all. I enjoy not sharing my space with another. I enjoy doing all the things I want to do. I make my own time and it doesn't get wasted entertaining others(which I hate doing) It goes on things I want to do and I get lost and can't be bothered.

I used to give so much of me. People sucked the life out of me. They dumped all their problems on me and I spent far too much time problem solving for others. I've wasted much energy giving the most truthful honest advice I can and Ive given the best of me for next to nothing. I'm selfish now. I don't owe anyone my time. If you request audience with me it's by appointment only... And I rarely answer the phone. Would you consider this the appropriate instruction for this life lesson? Or is there confusion in what is instruction...and what is learned adaption?

I have had repeated incidents of betrayal in my life from just about everyone I've allowed in my life. Thru time I have come to accept that you really don't know about someone because people lie and they have motives. I don't have time to spend playing guessing games and the potential risks outweighs the need or desire to invest the time getting close to someone. I just no longer care to do that. The repeated occurrence of major betrayals by the few select individuals who passed the stout application process has taught me to say less and don't make myself available. I don't vent to others and i avoid deep conversations. The instruction...in all this repetition must be that my trust is not given, it's earned and strong boundaries are essential. Believe in yourself not in what others believe in you. Avoid depending on people. They will disappoint.
