I stopped going to church years ago, and honestly, my relationship with God feels more honest now. Sitting in a pew every Sunday started to feel performative — like I was playing a role instead of actually listening. Once I stepped away, prayer became quieter and more personal. I stopped worrying about saying the “right” words and started speaking plainly. That doesn’t mean community doesn’t matter, but I don’t believe it only exists inside a church building. I’ve found meaning in conversations, in acts of service, and in moments when no one is watching. Faith, to me, isn’t about showing up somewhere — it’s about how I live when I leave. #Jesus #JesusInMyHome #Praying
