One Xanax does not make anyone pass out and suffocate unless it is laced with something like Fentanyl or the person took other substances along with the Xanax. Many people have had trouble with addictions to Xanax, but misrepresenting the effects of the drug as you have does not help anyone because no one can believe this story.

It sounds like your BF perhaps bought from someone on the street that use “Pill Presses” and she may have gotten pure fentanyl.

I have taken it as prescribed for over 26 years and we lower the doses every year and high up the doses as deemed necessary. As long as you do what your doctor recommends and stay away from over dosing with other medications or street drugs or alcohol you can survive.

The prescription specifically says DO NOT TAKE WITH ALCOHOL BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE DEPRESSED RESPIRATIONS.
