oh I loved my fair lady! and chatty chatty bang bang, ...movies like this are sadly no more....although I did enjoy the west side story remake, and the greatest showman. I watched 1776 the other day. but the fun musicals that were true triple threat performances....Oklahoma, the king and I, 7 brides for 7 brothers, porky and bess....we need an infusion of the pure, fun way of telling a story with music, dance, acting. I loved being 4yrs old in '67 and learning we sail the ocean blue at summer camp, learned to spell Oklahoma from John McCray and Shirley Jones, being so proud to be able to spell supercalifragalisticexpealadoscious....and I learned bell kicks to toot sweet. Fantastic story telling through music and dance, dosent have to be edgy, or have an agenda. its just a moment in time, and a story that was just fun.
