Racism has always existed in the United States of America. It probably always will; the laws in our Country do favor one group over the other. Obama had nothing to do with it. His only problem was being partially Black. Which begin to expose the Hatred in our Country. Trump came into Office and had to nerve to say what many others were feeling. Hatred in America seem to be an epidemic over night. White people in America do have certain privileges that Black people don't have. If you were to be honest with yourself you would admit it. If you are not Racist you should have no problem with Black people getting Reparations. I think we only want to be treated fairly.

One doesn't relate to the other. I dont want to be forced to pay for Reparations to people who were not slaves paid by people who never owned slaves. What can a white person do in this country that a black person can't? I personally think that thete us more black privilege than white privelege.

slaves were not our fellow Americans they were very expensive livestock and every single one of them was paid for in full at the auction there's no balance owed to anyone and no apologies necessary. NO REPARATIONS NO WAY !!!

I'm not a racist but reparations make no sense. You're asking all Americans to pay for something they were never part of, and neither were you. Do reparations come from the taxes of people whose ancestors came to America after slavery ended? Other minorities like the Chinese who had their own struggles here in America? What about recent immigrants from Africa? Should they also be paying for something they were never part of?
