I don’t think the argument is about Miami, it’s more about Alabama with 9-3 record and their late season poor play. The committee did not consider Notre Dames full season of work, yes they lost their 1st two games but both losses were two playoff teams and by a total of 4 points. They were playing as good of football as anyone in the Country in cueing the top four teams.
