Landry Shamet’s spot on the Knicks is locked in, and not just because of his game. Due to NBA rules, even if the Knicks wanted to waive him while he’s injured, his salary would still count against their cap. That means no extra room to bring in new talent until at least April. With Shamet out for a few weeks and OG Anunoby also sidelined, the Knicks’ rotation will be stretched thin, possibly pushing more minutes to Tyler Kolek. This could speed up trade talks for a backup guard or bigger wing. What do you think—should the Knicks make a move or ride it out? #Sports #Basketball #Knicks
