If it's got six digits on the odometer and it's not a Toyota or Honda you can be pressed assured that it's not far from needing to go to the scrap pile because the repairs are not worth it

If you take care of your vehicle, it will take care of you. I have a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500, with the 8.1 liter engine. I just turned 300k this past weekend, and it is still running strong. My goal is to get 500k with it. I bought it in 2016 with 72k on it, and traded in my 2003 5.3 liter Avalanche that had 302k on it, and was also still running strong. I also have a 2005 Escalade with the 6.2 liter, that just turned 180k. I bought that for my wife in 2018 with 85k on it. It also is still running strong. Both vehicles are driven daily. So, I have no complaints. 👊🏼

I bought a 1989 Nissan Sentra with 140,000 on it in 2004 in nice condition. I drove 140 miles a day, 5 days a week for work. I changed the oil every 6 weeks. I sold the car in 2007 for $300 with 376,000 on it.

Unless it has a junk 6.2 GM engine or ANYTHING Ford makes. Not all cars are created equal.
