Corvette Just Schooled Porsche & Ford

Chevy’s new 1,250-hp hybrid Corvette ZR1X just smoked the Nürburgring with a 6:49.275 lap—making it the fastest American car ever on the track! Not only did it beat the Ford Mustang GTD and Porsche 911 GT3 RS, but Chevy’s own engineers (not pro drivers!) set the times. The ZR1 and Z06 also posted wild laps, proving Corvette’s dominance. the engineers are pro drivers. give it a rest, my god the engineers have always been drivers vice versa at Corvette program. you think it's a fresh engineer at the home office that won a company lottery and just hopped in and took off.

I went to the Daytona track in Fla. It was a Ferrari club day at the track. There was a Corvette owner who licked all the Ferrari’s on the track. The safety team called a pit stop and called everyone in for a safety meeting. They basically had to slow down the tempo on the track especially for the Corvette driver. I was in the passenger seat of the Corvette for very two hours at times moving at 140-160 MPH. You will hit G forces and get dizzy. lol
