Shocking abuse uncovered in Norman, FL

Authorities in Norman, Florida have arrested a local family after uncovering disturbing abuse of their foster and adopted children—some as young as 7. Investigators found that kids were allegedly confined in a makeshift 'cage,' denied food, and even sprayed with vinegar as punishment. Even more heartbreaking, some children reportedly never learned their own last names or attended school for years. Meanwhile, the family’s biological kids received privileges like cellphones and better treatment. The Griffeth family is now facing serious charges and remains in jail. How can our community better protect vulnerable children and spot warning signs sooner? #Relationships #FloridaNews #ChildWelfare

They should be denied commissary in prison. Then they can live in a cage with nothing 👍 No TV, no phone calls, no special food or hygiene products. They can live just like they treated those kids 😡 I pray those kids can get enough help to lead a normal life 🙏🙏🙏🙏

this is nothing new when I was in foster care 40 years ago I was just a farm hand couldn't go in the living room had to sit in the hallway to watch the t.v. I don't think this is the exception to the rule I think this is the rule. I was a young girl and this was my 6th foster home. same o same o

Just looking at the photos of these weirdos why in the world would anyone let them adopt or foster in the first place? They have drug and alcohol written all over them.

When you take in foster children and making money why aren’t they being checked on ??? And how were they able to adopt children when they say it’s so expensive???

Sounds like the government wasn’t doing their jobs and keeping a check on the children all they worried about is getting these kids in homes where it looks like they have done their jobs it’s sad that people like that can get kids

i think dhr should focus 100% on reunification. instead they stay so far away from that. they go on each family with taking the kids and putting them in the system on mind. and they are most likely abused and hurt. they never even give parents a chance.
