Jordan played 15 years and didn’t make the finals 9 times. 1985 the bulls lost to the Bucks in the first round. 1986 they got swept in the first round by Boston. 1987 swept by Boston again in the first round. 1988,1989,1990 lost to the Pistons in the second round and in the Conference Finals twice. LeBron played in the finals his 4th year in the league with a team with no All Stars in 2007 being swept by the Spurs who were in the midst of a dynasty. 2010-2018 LeBron played in 8 straight finals. And once again in 2020. 4-6 record in the finals. MVP of every finals. Was never favored in any finals unlike MJ whose teams were always favored to win. LBJ the only player in history to average a triple double in the finals leading all players for both teams in every statistical category. I’m going with LBJ

The Goat is not based off stats because yes Jordan is the only player to achieve those stats at that time. But now we have new scoring champions and other records broken. To be the Goat is about a specific mentality, that achieved the accomplishments.

All you have to do is watch highlights of him having 3 round boxing matches against 2guys and then dunking it! This guy got mauled all the time and still took it to the rim with no fear...

That's why it's such a debate. Jordan was a beast. Lebron is a beast. I can make arguments all day as to who is the goat.
