If it weren't for the cat, I might have burned to death

I will never speak ill of my baby again (unless it really annoys me!). I've had a cold for the past two days, so I've been taking medicine and feeling groggy. After work yesterday, I went to the kitchen to heat up some leftover soup so I wouldn't have to take my medicine on an empty stomach. However, after turning on the gas, I fell asleep on the sofa. When I woke up again, I realized my cat had been rubbing against my face. As soon as I woke up, I noticed a really unpleasant smell and my head was throbbing. Suddenly I remembered—I hadn’t turned off the stove! I can’t even imagine what would have happened if it weren’t for my little cat—I might have suffocated or been burned to death! 😱 #Pets #Cats #Angels #LifeSaver

awesome story my little Chihuahua saved our lives the venterlator iny bathroom was broken didn't work but I guess when I accidentally turned to do over night it had been sparkling my Daisy would not climbing one and barking so finally I got up sparks trinkled in my clothes hamper and was burning thank God I listened to her we all were safe thanks to my Daisy duke duke 🙌🏾 she's my special fur baby 🥰🥰🥰

My cats saved my daughter and my house. While I was away, my twenty something daughter was asleep with her door open when an electrical fire started in the living room. She slept through the incredible heat and presence of carbon dioxide only to be waken by Patches , Simon, and Whampass,who kept swatting then bit her nose and finally got her to respond. Realizing something was very wrong she grabbed her cell and ran out of the burning house. By her quick call to 911 which is only four blocks away, most of the house was saved. All three of our kitties were rescued by the firemen! Hero cats and furry

My elder male cat (the love of my life) would yell his head off if he smelled smoke from something burning in the oven or on the stove and not stop until we fixed the problem and aired out the house. He also checks the doors and windows every night before we go to bed. When your cat loves you, they will always try to protect you!
