Are We Really Ready to Go Cashless?

Ever been told 'card only' at your local café? You’re not alone—over half of us have hit a spot that won’t take cash lately. While tapping your card is super convenient, a lot of people still want the option to pay with coins and notes—especially for budgeting or when tech glitches out. The big worry? Going totally cashless could leave some folks behind, like older people or anyone who struggles with digital payments. So, maybe keep a fiver in your wallet, just in case! #Business #MakeMoney #MoneyMatters

Why, cash works very well. I don't like letting people know about everything I buy. Also if I got cash, nobody can stop payment .Cash can be used anywhere.

it's so they can charge a fee on your card it's what most restaurants are doing there should be a law against it

Keep cash! I prefer to pay small business with cash as credit card companies charge them a fee to use the machine and for each customer.

That's not the problem, we older Americans have had credit cards and debit cards since I was a kid and I'm 67. I remember the earliest ones in the 1960s. Diner's Club for example and American Express. No the biggest problem with cashless society is that all your activities can be and are tracked. Another loss of privacy. And that is not a " so what" issue.
