Wahlburgers Shuts Down Most Locations!

Wahlburgers just closed 79 spots—yep, over two-thirds of their U.S. locations are gone! Most of these were inside Hy-Vee grocery stores, and now Hy-Vee is bringing back their own Market Grille. Only 28 Wahlburgers are left in the U.S., so if you’re craving one, better check if your city still has it. Mark Wahlberg’s burger empire is shrinking, but he’s still got a ton of other businesses going strong! #Food #Wahlburgers #RestaurantNews

I've picked up a pack of those Burgers, my friends and I did a taste test with all the burgers sold at the supermarket, not freezing the Burgers taking them out of the pack right on to the grill and their burgers won the taste test. With that said I will eat their Burgers before any other supermarkets for barbecue at home. Just because they are closing stores that don't perform doesn't mean the Burgers don't taste good. His family is involved and they do a good job of trying to bring a family ingredients Burger to the table.

Make your own burger on the grill and this is what I do for a burger…. Get 80% meat and what I do is chopped onions and parsley and whatever your preference is mix’s it all together with the meat then I make a big ass burger then before it gets on my grill I chop up some cheese and inject it in the burger yes I use lots of cheese so it drips out of the burger but I also top off the burger with some more cheese on top and then lettuce and tomato and whatever else you want… guarantee to beat any $17 burger

This story is misleading..They closed " Smaller " kiosk stores..but The Restaurants are still open..They are going through a " Revamp " ..Their new CEO is a sharp guy that knows how to " Restructure " and make Restaurants profitable..as far as the quality of food.i know they use " Choice " products..I believe its more of a " Quality Control " issue ..The Expeditor isn't doing their job..and if thats the case..bad business..they are a Brand ..they need to be CONSISTENT in everything they do and cannot have 1 deviation from ANYTHING Restaurant to Restaurant to be successful

I’ll stay home and make my own burger. I’m not paying that much for a burger when I can take $17 and go buy 5 pound of ground meat and make my own burger. Make a bunch of burgers.

it's pretty tough to succeed in the burger business as there's millions of them out there. there's so much better out there than another boring burger. 🥱

Im so over mark this and mark that. The idea was Paul wahlberg. Not mark not donnie pauls. Donnie and Mark were financially a backer. Mark ran and placed them everywhere not where it was good. Mark only sees money signs. he is the worse one out of the bunch has and always will be

I assume they're expensive because they use real beef. Unlike most other fast food restaurants. You don't know what you're eating and where it come from

They finally realized their is no money in the food industry, with the prices of minimum wages going up an the cost of making a meal is way out of control
