Squirrels kept lining up for my old .22

Ever had critters line up for harvest day? Took my beat-up .22 out early one morning and dropped a squirrel. Sat on a rock to clean it when another one popped out on a branch, chattering at me like crazy. Shot him too. Same thing happened again while cleaning the second one. This cycle kept repeating - every time I'd sit down to field dress one, another angry squirrel would show up to scold me. Could've stayed there all day collecting them if I didn't have places to be. Congrats you’re so macho and showed those poor squirrels how bad you are. Another one of Gods beautiful creatures killed for what your pleasure?? Congrats for you I guess. Hate hunting but respect someone trying to feed the family but to kill for any other reason is 😰😰😰sorry but your picture just made me sad

I love it when non hunters bash hunters, hunting is about conservation. if there weren’t hunters, the animal populations would be out of control and would breed more diseases among them. I’ve been hunting since 1964. I never kill anything I don’t eat. Also it was 12 when I started hunting. I’m 73 now I was never a serial killer so that theories out the window.

That's some fine table fare- squirrel and dumplings come to mind first. Then fried squirrel. If ya freeze them and save til duck season, there's my favorite, squirrel and duck gumbo!

🤔..In the past 50ish years.. I've harvested.. 5k in cottontail's, 2k Snowshoe hares, 5k in different types of Tree rats..😲, Let's get to the bigger game.. 🤔 between Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, 😲 Caribou.. Over 25ish tons of meat. Not a trophy hunter.. tho. if I can't eat it.. I don't need to kill it... please tell me you know the difference between the two..

I wish I had the guts to do this to the squirrel's who keeps eating my Bird food. it's not for them to eat it's for my bird's! they are very clever though and sometimes it's amazing to watch what they do, they are very persistent and I think they are kinda smart little creatures!
