$2300 for Brakes?! Am I Getting Ripped Off Here? 😬

Just got a quote to replace my brakes, and the number hit me like a ton of bricks: $2300! My gut feeling is that this sounds incredibly steep, so I'm already heading out for a second opinion. 😑😡 The shop claimed all my calipers need replacing because the pins and pistons are rusted. Given that, what would you say is a fair price range for getting pads, rotors, and calipers changed out?
