Remove all oils before beginning manicure? NO!

I keep seeing the “holy grail” tip that your nail plate has to be bone-dry and oil-free so polish will last longer. Nope—after testing, that’s 100 % wrong! My nails were brittle and peeled like crazy. I stumbled on another forum that said polish actually grips hydrated nails better… so a dab of oil before base coat can lock in a longer mani *and* replace moisture stripped by acetone. Tried it, totally hooked. Now I slather coconut oil on my hands and nails right before polish, and my nails grow so fast I’ve gotta trim them nonstop! #NailCare #NailCareGuide
