Siren’s Curse Strikes Again at Cedar Point!

Imagine being stuck 160 feet in the air, tilted at a wild angle, just waiting for the ride to start again. That’s what happened (again!) on Cedar Point’s new Siren’s Curse coaster. For the third time since opening, the ride’s safety sensors hit pause and left thrill-seekers dangling for 20 minutes. Everyone was safe, but honestly, is this the scariest ride or just the glitchiest? Would you ride after hearing this? #Travel #CedarPoint #RollerCoaster

I'm guessing the ride will go on until people die. if that coaster goes off the track where it tilts and doesn't lock tracks then there they go 160 feet down. I would not ride this and if I had kids they would not ride it either 🤔

I’ve worked maintenance at calif great America and some of these rides the way there designed and maintained is tricky to say the least. Not all rides are created equal but cedar point makes safety number one in there books. I’d say maybe they need to re-evaluate the ride with.extensive testing with dummy riders. If any of you have ever repaired or designed a thrill ride it’s not cut and dry. Remember you wanted a more thrilling experience than just rolling around on tracks. And never know how thrilling it is until a glitch happens. Maybe it’s suppose to vary in operation.

I've been stuck on a roller coaster that broke down mid ride. It was Space Mountain at Disney World in Florida. The ride stopped, and we sat there in the dark for a while, then they turned on enough lights to enable them to send workers throughout the ride, checking on people. once it was clear they then moved the cars along the track by hand as needed to get them to the loading platform. A few people had to disembark and walk out because of either their fear or because of the location where their car stopped. We were then given the next ride after the problem was fixed if desired.

It's only a matter of time before someone has a heart attack because the ride is stuck.

it should be shutdown before someone get serious hurt or worse die 3 times is a sign no good will come from this ceder point is opening themselves up for a big law suit when something bad happens there . what is wrong with the park they k ow they have a problem with that ride why dont they have someone come in that knows what there doing to fix there so called glitch if that is even what it is. I think Al these rides at any park now in this environment out in the world today are no good faulty parts etc hurried to put stuff together not enough skilled people to operate them death waiting t o happen so sad.

I was good on it when they announced the ride. When it has to connect to the track. It's a No for me.
