Iguazu Was Loud. I Felt Small.

Ten years of wanting, saving, and scrolling photos. I finally stood at the edge of Iguazu Falls, Brazil—soaked, deafened, and weirdly numb. The water was relentless, thunderous, almost violent. I thought I’d feel triumphant. Instead, I felt like a speck—unimpressive, untransformed, just another tourist clutching a phone. Nobody tells you how anticlimactic your dream destination can feel when you finally get there. Maybe the buildup is too much. Maybe the falls are just too big for any one person’s story. I left with blurry photos and a strange relief: some places are meant to humble you, not heal you. #Travel #TravelExpectationVsReality #DreamTrips
