Elerson Smith Calls It Quits—Too Soon?

Dawg Pound, did anyone see this coming? Elerson Smith, the 6'7" pass rusher who joined us last season, just retired before camp even started. At only 26, and with his size and upside, I thought he might push for a spot behind Myles and McGuire, especially with Alex Wright coming off injury. Was the D-line depth just too much, or is there more to the story? Curious to see if he stays retired or makes a comeback elsewhere. #Sports #Football #Browns
