Everyone Thinks I'm Rich at Work—But They Don't Know My Struggles! 😤🏡

I’m in my 20s, working in tech, and just bought a house in a nice suburb. My coworkers and even some friends keep calling me "rich" because of where I live and how I manage my money. What they don’t see is that I grew up poor, learned to stretch every dollar, and have never even been on a real vacation. I worked hard, went to community college, transferred to a state school, and graduated with no debt. I drive a 15-year-old car, never eat out, and shop at Aldi. But at work, people act like I had everything handed to me. They complain about being broke, but they spend on things I never would. Honestly, it’s starting to get to me. I feel isolated and misunderstood, and it’s affecting my confidence at work. Has anyone else dealt with this? How do you handle these kinds of assumptions and stay motivated? I’d really appreciate your advice. 🙏😓 #JobCareer #WorkplaceStruggles #MoneyMisconceptions
