Why I still hunt with my first rifle

I was cleaning out my safe the other day and picked up the old .270 I’ve used since my first deer season. Got me thinking—no matter how many rifles I try, I always come back to this one. It’s not the most advanced, but it’s reliable, and the memories it carries are worth more than any upgrade. Anyone else feel the same about their first deer rifle?
