Verdon Gorge Stole My Breath

Everyone told me Verdon Gorge was "pretty." They undersold it by a thousand miles. Paddling through limestone walls that tower 700 meters above you isn't just scenic—it's humbling. The water is so turquoise it looks fake until your paddle cuts through it. No Instagram filter needed. Halfway through, I stopped paddling and just floated.
