Looks like the Jauan Jennings-to-Pittsburgh buzz is officially over. According to Adam Schefter, the 49ers have zero interest in trading Jennings, despite multiple teams (including our Steelers) checking in. This feels like déjà vu after last year’s failed Aiyuk chase. With the WR market thinning, it’s looking more and more like Calvin Austin will get his shot as WR2 next season. CA3 or Calvin Austin III, is lightning in a bottle. Whenever they did throw him the ball and it was accurate, he has been electric. If DK helps him polish his route running, and they get someone who knows how to use him, he’s a game changer. But in this offense, sadly he’ll hit free agency and make a name somewhere else. Hoping they blow the coaching staff out next year. Hope they win it all as a true Steelers fan, but certainly not holding my breath until a new coaching staff arrives and a QB who who wasn’t around when we won Super Bowl XL…anyway #HERWEGO
