McDonald’s OJ Drama: Who Knew?

Did you know McDonald’s breakfast meals don’t always come with OJ—even if the menu screen shows it? One New City customer was shocked to get hit with a $2.20 upcharge for orange juice he thought was included. After a Facebook post and a bunch of heated comments, the manager cleared it up: only coffee is included, OJ costs extra. Next time, double-check before you sip! #Food #McDonalds #BreakfastFail

It’s so sad that McDonalds still keeps that deceptive advertising ad up still on its drive thur menus…but you realize now that a company has to use deception to sell its disgusting 🤮 🐕dogfood is probably not the best place to buy and eat their food 🥘

Yeah, well I can’t afford fast food anymore. The quality is not there. Fast food is cheap for a reason.

If it's in the picture of the Breakfast Special, it should be included. Otherwise, the cashier needs to inform the customer.

why do you buy breakfast at McDonald's make it at home is all healthier and cheaper and you won't have to worry about your orange juice being so high you could buy a whole gallon for that price

The issue is the new menu boards show something that is not what you get. Not everyone can read, or read well. And not everyone who reads is going to notice something that tells you they are being deceptive with their menu. And what about people with dyslexia? It’s just wrong people! Put the damn coffee cup on every meal if that’s what comes with it. Just like the listed price is only if you want a small drink and small fry, but the picture shows large drinks and large fries every meal. It’s deceptive advertising. And it needs to stop.

The best way to deal with McDonald’s is to not go to McDonald’s!

For 17, almost 18 dollars, you could buy the stuff and make three or four days' worth of breakfast .....

McDonald's has been doing this for decades. I've never had coffee in my life so I asked if I could change it to orange juice. The lady said yes I can then she charged me $2 extra. The next time I went in there I asked if I could change my coffee to five Big Mac's instead since I don't drink coffee. The person looked at me like I was nuts. Then she said I would have to pay for the five Big Mac's. They tell me I have to pay for the five Big Mac's but they don't tell you about the upcharge from coffee to orange juice.
