Ford’s Backup Camera Drama—Again!

Ford’s at it again with another recall—this time, nearly 200,000 Bronco Sports are in the hot seat because their backup cameras can totally freeze up! Imagine shifting out of reverse and your camera just...stays stuck. Not great for parking. The culprit? A SYNC 3 software bug that messes with memory and settings. If you’ve got a 2021-2023 Bronco Sport, you’ll need a software update at the dealer. Ford’s had 88 recalls this year—yikes! Anyone else feel like their car’s basically a smartphone now? #Cars #CarOwnership #FordRecall

I had 2015 Ford explorer Xlt, and the backup camera went bad on it. There are no recalls for the year in Florida. I took the Suv in 2019 after the warranty ran out. So I brought it to Clermont Ford, which cost me almost $1800.00 . Now, every other day, camera problems on Fords. I think they should reimburse the past years for owners who paid out of pocket to fix their backup cameras. L.A.Dawson.

My 2014 Explorer xlt rear camera works when it wants to and my drivers door lining is pulling away from the actual door.. I have seen it was a recall in the past but I didn’t have the car until 2020 and I am supposed to pay big bucks to fix fords mistake because I didn’t own it previously?? Wow !!!
