Cat's hilarious revenge on new baby

So my drama queen tabby, Princess (yes, really), had been the undisputed ruler of our house for 3 years. Then we brought home our newborn daughter and I swear this cat plotted her revenge like a tiny furry mafia boss. First day: Princess knocked over the baby's bottle. Twice. Second day: She somehow got into the nursery and knocked all the diapers off the changing table. Third day: I found her sitting IN the crib, staring at me like 'what are YOU gonna do about it?' I was ready to rehome this menace. But then I caught her in the act of her 'ultimate revenge' - she had snuck into the nursery again and was... gently patting the baby's back while she cried, purring like a little engine. Turns out Princess wasn't plotting revenge. She was plotting to become the world's most dramatic big sister. Now they're inseparable and I'm pretty sure my cat thinks she's the baby's actual mother. #Pets #Cats #CatsAndBabies

I was told by many people to get rid of my cats when I had my first baby and I was shocked and proven right when they just adored the baby 🥰

I had a day care in my home, I had 14 kids of all ages throughout the day. I also had a big 20 pound tom cat that was part of the day care for 13 years. The kids would put him in this big plastic bin that was see thru & push him around in it & the kids would just about die laughing at him as he was trying to catch the floor as it went by under his feet. Had him for almost 17 years before he got sick & I had to put him down

They (cats) are very good BabySitters! My Twin Sons had Prissy - she would hate to hear them cry. She would come get You. If You were asleep she would like the bottom of your feet to wake You UP! Rude awakening 😡. But she was right there looking after her Boys! 🥰🥰

We have a female dog who thinks it’s her job to mother anything that cry’s. We were given a very small 2 week old kitten someone found and I swear she thought she was that kittens mother. We’d bottle feed it she’d wash (Goobers) face hello to stimulate him to go to the bathroom. Lick him clean just plain ole mother him. When our 3yr old grandson comes over she’s his best buddy and fierce protector.

I hope NO ONE removes their fur babies from their home. You can always train them if the cat hasn't changed please people don't get an animal if you are going to change your way of life! It's not fair to the fur babies

that old wives tale goes back to the 17th century but SID wasn't really known back then, you can bet the deaths of young infants can be really SID.

Oh yes our furry princess are divas. They are not mindless creatures as some tend to believe. Cats own us so get use to it !! They will die of starvation till you have the right can food and make sure it’s not pate !!! Oh no…. not pate but chicken and gravy with Blue cat dry food for fur balls. And her running water has to be do so …. So yes our furry princess babies are our companions and when that’s gone you’re by yourself.

that is absolutely correct. if parents don't teach their babies how to interact with an animal, they do things like hit, hit them with toys, just be mean, and the animal will eventually retaliate back to protect itself. I have seen it with dogs and cats, and the parents say nothing or correct the child for doing that. That is the human fault, not the animal, and it really makes me angry that the animals get abuse because of the stupidity of adults.

My cat has been threw a fire, stayed with my brother he had a stroke. When we finally got new housing months later brought him here. My daughter had her last baby as a toddler he was mean to the cat. Now the cat runs after him when he’s not with me. He hisses chases him and scratches him. We’ve had him 8 1/2 years my daughter is ready to get rid of him. He hasn’t hurt him in a while but the cat is still afraid of him.
