Remember when the Legion of Doom ruled Philly, but it was Joel Otto quietly shutting down the opposition? Otto’s shutdown game and faceoff skills were the backbone of the Flyers’ depth in the 90s, even if he didn’t fill the scoresheet. With Coots now in the late prime of his career, I can’t help but think the Flyers could use another Otto-type center—maybe Noah Cates is next up?
