I still hunt with grandpa’s old guns

Curious if anyone else prefers older firearms over the new stuff? I’ve been collecting vintage rifles and shotguns for a while now, mostly for the build quality. Two of my favorites came from my grandfather — a ‘60s Rem 760 pump .30-06 (kicks like a mule!) and an Ithaca 20-gauge that’s light, balanced, and deadly on rabbits. There’s just something about how these old guns handle. Anyone else swear by their hand-me-downs or vintage finds? #hunting #vintagefirearms #vintageguns

Winchester Model 37. It was purchased for my dad in the late 1950's by his grandfather and then given to me when I turned sixteen. I then gave it to my son when he turned sixteen, it was his first gun

I still hunt everything from deer to doves and trap with a Winchester Model 12 30" full choke and a 50s version Browning A5. Love those oldies.

I have hunted with my grandfather's 97 winchester for 60 years. Sadly, I have no grandsons to pass it on to.

I got a 300 Savage Model 99 that my grandpa got in the 50s. It kicks like hell, but it's super honest. I love it.

I have my Mossberg 500 12ga, doesn't have a serial # as it was manufactured prior to 1968. Goes bang every time.
