My cats' cold war officially ended today

So I've been living with what I can only describe as feline political tension for months. My rescue cat Luna has been giving my older cat Mochi the stink eye since day one. Like, full-on passive-aggressive warfare. Today I'm working from home, and suddenly I feel this extra weight on my legs. Look down and there they are – Luna and Mochi, curled up together on my lap like they've been best friends forever. Not touching, mind you, but in the same general vicinity without anyone getting murdered. I'm trying not to move or breathe too loudly because I'm pretty sure this is a historic peace treaty happening on my thighs. My legs are completely numb but I refuse to disturb this diplomatic breakthrough. Update: It's been two hours. Send help. And maybe some snacks. #Pets #Cats #CatsOfReddit
