NHRA’s on a knife edge between tradition and showbiz — hope they don’t forget what matters

Love the new bonuses, the flashy pit activations, the side shootouts. But at the end of the day, it’s gotta be about who builds the meanest engine, who’s smartest on the clutch, who cuts the best light. As long as they never lose that, I’ll keep buying tickets.
