My Dad Lived for NASCAR, My Son Couldn’t Care Less

I grew up spending Sundays on the couch with my old man, yelling at the TV every time Dale Sr. or Gordon made a move. That rumble, the smell of burgers on the grill, and my dad cussing out “those damn Chevys” — it’s my childhood in a nutshell. Fast forward to now, I tried getting my teenage son into NASCAR. He shrugged and said, “It’s kinda boring. F1’s cooler.” Honestly felt like a knife to the chest. 😂 I get it, times change, but man… there’s something about stock cars trading paint that these kids just don’t appreciate.
