Garden Bay at 6AM looks like a screensaver: mist curling off the water, pines so still it’s like they’re holding their breath. I thought getting up early, lacing my boots, and climbing until my legs burned would quiet the static in my head. But halfway up, the silence got louder. I kept thinking about the messages I hadn’t answered, the things I was running from. The view at the top was perfect, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d carried all my old worries up with me. Sometimes you leave home, but the restlessness follows. #Travel #TravelConfessions #RestlessWanderer
