Anyone else have any unexpected animal sightings while hiking?

Several years ago, I was at Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park when I witnessed something absolutely amazing - a moose swimming across the lake! I honestly had no idea moose were such strong swimmers until I saw it with my own eyes. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love getting out on the trails. You never know what incredible wildlife encounters are waiting around the corner! Rocky Mountain National Park never fails to surprise me.
