The View Was Perfect. I Wasn’t Looking

There’s this photo I never posted—me halfway up East End of Rundle, staring across at Ha Ling Peak. Everyone else was snapping the view, but I just sat there, picking at the seams of my gloves, pretending to catch my breath. I thought I’d feel something big—some rush, some clarity. Instead, it was just cold wind and the slow ache in my knees. The mountains were supposed to mean something. But mostly, I just felt small, and a little embarrassed that I’d come all this way to realize I still didn’t know what I was looking for. Maybe that’s the point. Sometimes you climb just to see if you can. #Travel #TravelConfessions #UnfilteredJourneys
