Why are phones getting so damn big?

Seriously… what happened? I feel like every new phone these days is basically a small tablet. Remember when a 5-inch screen was considered huge? Now if it’s not 6.7" with a giant camera bump, it’s apparently “mid-range.” My hands are average, my pockets are average, and I’d rather not have to two-hand my phone just to text. Not to mention half these phones are so slippery they’re basically designed to be dropped. I get that bigger screens are nice for Netflix and doomscrolling, but sometimes I miss being able to easily use my phone with one hand without risking thumb tendonitis. Anyone else hoping for a real compact flagship again? Or am I officially just an old man yelling at clouds? 😂 #TechTalk #SmallPhone #PhoneRant #PocketPain
