Salmon and Rice Dinner in 20 Minutes

Season your salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder. I love adding a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high and cook the salmon skin-side down for about 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook another 2-3 minutes until it’s just cooked through. While the salmon cooks, make some fluffy white rice. I use a rice cooker for convenience, but stovetop works too. Serve the salmon over the rice and top with a drizzle of soy sauce or your favorite teriyaki glaze. I always add a sprinkle of green onions and sesame seeds for crunch.
